Hello, my lovelies. Welcome to my ninth post of the 12 Days of Blogmas 2020 festive blogging challenge. They say Music is the food for the soul so today I’m filling my post with some amazing festive songs.
But before I share those Christmas toe-tappers with you…
🎄 What is 12 DAYS OF BLOGMAS? 🎄
The 12 Days of Blogmas is an excellent choice for anyone new to the whole blogging world of Blogmas. This is my first year taking part and I wasn’t entirely sure if I’d be able to dedicate enough time to it.
For this aspect of Blogmas, blogging start on 1st December and we post daily for the first 12 days, or post every other day (which is what I decided to do).
Alternatively, some bloggers follow the 12 Days of Christmas from 25th December to 6th January in line with the Christian Church. This allows them to either rest before taking part, or follow their usual blogging schedule in the lead up to the 12 Days of Blogmas.
I worked in retail for many years. We’d get the Christmas tape or CD to play through the shop’s sound system as soon as the summer sales had been packed away. Like most people, some songs released for that coveted Christmas UK Number One spot put a smile on my face while others sent me screaming with my hands over my ears. 😉

I’ve never been a big fan of christmas songs. In stores they’re fun but on my own time it’s not the kind of music I choose to listen to. Though out of all the songs you mentioned the only one that stands out is Mariah Carey’s All I Want For Christmas. Great post!
Thanks Mikky. I don’t play specific Xmas tunes either, but at this time of the year they’re everywhere! Ha!Ha! Radio, shops and as background for all the Christmas Specials on air.
