Hello, my lovelies. Welcome to my fourth post of the 12 Days of Blogmas 2020 festive blogging challenge. Today, I’m sharing some Stocking Fillers that cost less than £10.
The Covid-19 pandemic means that finances are a lot tighter this year for the Gatehouse Christmas budget. I know I’m not alone feeling the pinch. Therefore, I’m sharing some gifts that I’ve bought for less than ten quid to fill the family Christmas stockings.
But, before I share with you my amazing Christmassy gift finds, just in case you didn’t know…
🎄 What is 12 DAYS OF BLOGMAS? 🎄
The 12 Days of Blogmas is an excellent choice for anyone new to the whole blogging world of Blogmas. This is my first year taking part and I wasn’t entirely sure if I’d be able to dedicate enough time to it.
For this aspect of Blogmas, blogging start on 1st December and we post daily for the first 12 days, or post every other day (which is what I decided to do).
Alternatively, some bloggers follow the 12 Days of Christmas from 25th December to 6th January in line with the Christian Church. This allows them to either rest before taking part, or follow their usual blogging schedule in the lead up to the 12 Days of Blogmas.
As a family, we decided to set a limit of £10 per person. We’d all buy a gift to put into each person’s Christmas stocking. That means that I still have the same number of people to buy for (15) but it’ll cost me a fraction of what it usually does. We’ll all get a stocking with at least 15 presents inside.
Here’s what I’ve bought so far:
My Family’s Christmas Stocking Fillers
- Palm Reading Cards (£4.99)
- 100% Beeswax (£3.00)
- Antique Brass wax Melting Spoon (£2.99)
- Star Wars – Yoda Hand Sanitiser (£3.99)
- Gingerbread Soy Candle (£6.45)
- Harry Potter – Duelling Wand Pencils (£5.99)
- Mini Chocolate Books (£8.99)
- Sudoku Puzzle Cube (£5.99)
- Christmas Robin glass jar/pot with rope handles (£10.00)
- Children’s book and seeds personalised gift set (£10.00)
As you can see, I’m far from finished. I’ve done my shopping in town now I can sit back and browse Etsy to fill the gaps. I’m grateful for any suggestions too. 😉
