Friday Finds – This Weeks Little Gems

Hello my lovelies,

Here we are again – Friday Finds.

If you are one of my lovely new followers let me explain. I like to read, especially paranormal romance but it’s a big wide literary world out there and I decided a couple of weeks ago that you, my dear followers, might be interested in book reviews about other genres. Ta!Da! My weekly Friday Finds post was born.

Here are some non-paranormal romance book reviews I enjoyed reading this week from the blogs I follow (in no particular order).

You Owe Me One |Kathryn Hollingworth from Literary Titan

As I’ve said before, Literary Titan are a group of reviewer that seem to find independent published works in every genre! This title warranted a 5 star review – not something that happens very often.

Review: The Girl Who Knew Da Vinci – Belle Ami from Paranormal Romance Guild

Yes OK, but they are a group who actually read other genres too, so shush and let me continue. 😉 Each review has a different feel as the guild has so many reviewers on staff and this review is of a time travelling tale that sounds very interesting.

Review: The Victory Garden by Rhys Bowen from

As I’ve mentioned before, Anne Mendez usually reviews books in the historical fiction genre, including all the sub-genres, e.g. mystery, thriller, romance, etc. which is a genre I rarely read myself but I always enjoy her thoughts.

Beneath The Sugar Sky – Seanan McGuire from Elaine Howlin – Literary Blogger

Elaine’s reviews are always intelligent and easy to read plus her reading tastes are substantially more varied than mine. Lol! Her blog is also full of beautifully composed photos.

and finally…

The Satan Sleuth Series – Michael Avallone from Duke De Richleau’s Nocturnal Revelries

As I’ve said before, I always make the time to read the articles from this blog because even if I’d never actually read the books he does, I love his irreverent reviewing style. I’m not sure if the Satan Slueth series is cozy enough for my tastes but I did enjoy the review.

So, that’s my picks for this week. I hope you find a moment or two to click at least one of these reviews yourself – who knows you may just find your next favourite author!

Before I go, I just wanted to remind you that the current Audible trial is a great way for you to try Audiobooks. I’m “reading” more and more books like this and find it a relaxing experience. If you sign up , you’ll receive:
