Friday Finds – Book Blogs To Write Home About

Hello my lovelies,

This is my 4th Friday Finds post! Bloody hell, time really does fly, doesn’t it.

If you are one of my lovely new followers let me explain what these posts are all about. I like to read, especially paranormal romance, and I like to read blogs by fellow book-a-holics like me but it’s a big wide literary world out there and I decided at the end of January that you, my dear followers, might be interested in the book reviews from other genres that my fellow bloggers are posting about. Ta!Da! My weekly Friday Finds tag was born.

So without further ado, here are some non-paranormal romance book reviews I enjoyed reading this week from the blogs I follow (in no particular order).

Gentleman Sinner by Jodi Ellen Malpas from The Secret World of Book Lovers

Carla really does read all types of genres. Her reviews are very informative and she adds lots of links to help her followers to connect to the authors too.

REVIEW: Don’t Wake Up by Liz Lawler from Thrill Me. Chill Me.

Julie is definitely an eclectic reader, but psychological thrillers and mysteries seem to be her favourites.

Price of Life | David Crane from Literary Titan

As I’ve said before, Literary Titan are a group of reviewer that seem to find independent published works in every genre! This title warranted a 5 star review – not something that happens very often.

Review: Bad Influence by Stefanie London from EBook Obsessed

Lucy’s site is full of reviews, author interviews and book promotions. Even when she’s not enamoured with a book she’s read, her reviews are always worth the time to read. Oh, and she also kindly gives away her paperback ARCs every Friday!

And my last find this week is…

Review – Motion (Laws of Physics, #1; Hypothesis, #2.1) by Penny Reid @Reidromance from A British Bookworm’s Blog

Jo is a fellow Brit who loves reading but unlike me she reads across the genres and is continually sharing new releases with her followers. I don’t know where she finds the time! Her reviews are concise and always tell me what I need to know.

So, that’s my picks for this week. I hope you find a moment or two to click at least one of these reviews yourself – who knows you may just find your next favourite author!

Before I go, I just wanted to remind you that the current Audible trial is a great way for you to try Audiobooks. As I’ve said before, I’m “reading” more and more books this way and really enjoy the performances that the narrators give us. If you sign up today, you’ll receive:

I hope you have a good weekend and manage to read (or listen to) a great story. Don’t forget to post a comment below if you visit any of the above blogs or if you’ve read any of these books.

Happy Reading!
