Hello, my lovelies. Today I’m celebrating a book birthday, Touch of Rapture by Suzanne Wright. The seventh book in her fantastic paranormal romance series, Deep in Your Veins.
I met Suzanne waaay back in 2019 at a book signing event in London (RARE19). She was a new-to-me author but she was funny, kind and very easy to chat to. Therefore, I started reading her books and have enjoyed each one I’ve picked up.
I loved reading and listening to the stories in the Deep in Your Veins series, so I was over the moon when I found out that Suzanne has more tales to tell!
Keep reading to find out more about Suzanne and her Deep in Your Veins series. But first…
What’s Touch of Rapture about?
Rulers of vampirekind Sam Parker and Jared Michaels are enjoying the current peace that’s fallen among their species … until it abruptly shatters. A vampire unlawfully attempting to Turn unwilling humans is somehow inadvertently killing them. It makes no sense, just like the strange brand on his palm and the fact that he boasts multiple vampiric gifts. He also has the same mercury glint to his irises that Sam herself possesses … indicating that she’s no longer the only vampire hybrid in the world.
It quickly becomes clear that eliminating him won’t be easy, especially since he’s under the protection of an ancient being more powerful than Sam and Jared combined. They must win-over the ancient and track the hybrid before more innocent humans die … which would be a lot easier if a distraction hadn’t come in the form of a stranger appearing at The Hollow making an exceedingly bold claim.
A claim that he once had a precognitive vision of himself Bound to Sam.

It sounds exciting, doesn’t it? 😍
Keep reading to find out more about Suzanne. But first, let me tell you all about the Deep in Your Veins series.
Deep In Your Veins by Suzanne Wright
This adult paranormal series is written in the same world as Dark In You with some crossover characters.
Our human myths and legends about vampires are sometimes right, sort of. There are actually three breeds of vampires: Sventé, Pagori, and Keja. Each breed has its own strengths and weaknesses – but that’s about to be turned on its head…

Meet Suzanne Wright
I don’t remember a time when I wasn’t writing something, whether it was stories, poems, or even songs – though I can’t carry a tune. I only have one rule when I’m writing a book which is that it has to have a happy ending. Other than that, pretty much anything goes. I write stories that I would enjoy reading and then I just hope that others will enjoy them too.
I was born and raised in England where I live with my husband (a person who doesn’t judge me for hearing voices in my head – how often do you come across people like that?), and my two demanding children.
Thank you for visiting and joining me to celebrate today’s book birthday, Touch of Rapture. I’m so glad that there are more stories to tell in this fantastic vampire series.
Have you read any of the books in the Deep in Your Veins series yet? Do you have any of Suzanne’s other books on your shelves? I’d love to chat and compare notes. Drop me a comment below.
