Hello my lovelies,

April is #IndieApril and this post follows on from my last one, Win Prizes in New Competition for Independent Authors, about the Book Bloggers Novel of the Year Awards (BBNYA), a collaboration with The Folio Society and The Write Reads.

If you missed it, the BBNYA, is a competition for indie authors (both self-published and published by small indie presses). The contest will be judged by a large and diverse panel of book bloggers from all around the world who’ll be putting the books through several rounds of judging based on a wide set of criteria. As each round goes by, the results will be announced across social media – until, the panel are left with the ten finalists. After further intensive reviewing, the ultimate favourite will be chosen and declare it the “Book Bloggers Novel of the Year”!

As a proud member of the panel, I will be writing regular posts about BBNYA from now until the competition is closed. You can also get up-to-date information on the BBNYA’s Official WEBSITE or TWITTER accounts.

Today, I want to let you know that the ENTRIES ARE NOW OPEN!

Just to remind you, there are some great prizes for authors placing up to tenth. But here’s what awaits the first-place winner:

  • yet to be revealed BBNYA 2020 trophy
  • An Ultimate Blog Tour from The Write Reads
  • A unique BBNYA 2020 badge designed by Jenniely
  • A 100 pound sterling Folio Society voucher
  • A 100 euro cash prize

For information on eligibility and how to enter, click here. Authors have until 23:59 GMT on 10th May 2020 to enter one of their books in this competition.

Please share this with ANY and ALL Indie Authors you know. I’ll share more about this amazing competition in my next BBNYA post.

Bye for now,

Flora 💜

    1. Yes, Sophie, I think there’s a greater market for independent, self-published authors and smaller publishers. They just need more exposure and I’m hoping this competition will help.
