Flora Celebrates… Beltane May Day (Day 4)

Hello My Lovelies,

As part of my current seven day theme – May Day/Beltane – I thought I’d share some of the songs that I’ve been known to sing at this time of year. Of course, a wee drop of mead or fruit wine amongst friends helps with ones cheerfulness and reduces the fear of not being able to carry the tune!

Lisa Thiel has a wonderfully, magical voice and her lyrics are beautiful; Circle of the Seasons is one of those albums that always seems to put me in touch with my spiritual, nature loving side.

If you’d like to read more posts about this wonderful time of year, just search the tag #Beltane at the bottom of the page or click on the Sabbats category.

Beltane (Lord and Lady) by Lisa Thiel

(from her album Circle of the Seasons)

On the full Moon in May
As One the Lord and the Lady
Tonight’s the Eve of Holy Beltane
As One the Lord and the Lady

Beltane Night Full Moon Bright
Sacred visions bless our sight
Lord and Lady merge as One
As One the Lord and the Lady

Creative Passions Bursting Forth
As One the Lord and the Lady
Leads us back to the Source
As One the Lord and the Lady

As the Lovers Sweetly Entwine
Filled together with a Bliss Divine
Joined together in Heart and Mind
As One the Lord and the Lady

Great Mother Gives Birth to all things
As One the Lord and the Lady
Blessing All with the Bounty She Brings
As One the Lord and the Lady

All things ripen and grow
As One the Lord and the Lady
Abundance in Eternal Flow
As One the Lord and the Lady

On the full moon in May
As One the Lord and the Lady
Tonight’s the Eve of Holy Beltane
As One the Lord and the Lady

I'm in my late forties, my interests are varied but since menopause hit a few years ago, I find myself becoming a "grumpy old woman" all too frequently - where has my infinite patience gone!?! Lol!
I bought a Kindle in the summer of 2013 and haven't stopped reading since. If you want to know more about me, check out my blog - www.florasmusings.com
