Author Services – ARC Reviews

As a book blogger, I obviously review books that I’ve bought to read for myself. However, I also review ARCs (Advance or Early Reader Copy). These are usually pre-publication copies that authors, blog tours and publishers send me both directly and through NetGalley.

Reading has always been a passion of mine. I share my reviews to help fellow book-a-holics find another book to add to their already overflowing shelves. Hopefully I also introduce them to their next favourite read or a new-to-them author!

A link to my reviews are posted on my Twitter feed, Flora’s Musings on Facebook and on Goodreads as well as on Amazon UK (subject to Amazon approval). Oh, and I add links to the authors websites in my blog posts so that my followers can check them out themselves.

If you would like me review your book but need it reviewed by a certain date, that’s not a problem. Just let me know in the message section on the contact form. Thanks.

Author Services – Beta Reading

Are you an author? Have you finished the final draft of your manuscript and want to test the reception with readers before you publish?  My Beta Reader Service might be just what you need at this point in your writing journey.

Share your manuscript with me and I’ll provide you with feedback on your book. I’ll let you know which elements I loved, which could be improved, and suggest how this might be achieved.

Many authors send their manuscript off for beta reading. They do this so that they can gain some unbiased feedback before they move on to final editing or publishing. This step is important for a number of reasons:

  • It ensures that the book is suitable for the target audience.
  • That the story is conveying the right message.
  • And is enjoyable as it’s tough for friends and family give unbiased opinions.
