Flora’s Mini Book Reviews… A Little Night Magic by Angie Fox

Hello Fellow Book Lovers,

Usually, when I read a book I don’t write a full review, I just write a paragraph or two to publish on Amazon and Goodreads; especially if it’s a book with thousands of reviews already.

So with that in mind, today, I want to share my thoughts about a great little collection of novellas that I read back in January …

A Little Night Magic by Angie Fox

New York Times bestselling author Angie Fox is back with an enchanting collection of six sweet, quirky, laugh-out-loud tales of paranormal mischief.

Enter a world of magic with the ever-popular and always rowdy biker witches; take off on a spine tingling adventure with a Southern good girl turned reluctant ghost hunter; and sizzle in the sultry heat of New Orleans as a voodoo mambo makes one very big mistake when casting a love spell.

These charming tales of love, friendship, and laughter are a pure delight.

Features six short stories (also available individually on Kindle):
A Ghostly Gift
Ghost of a Chance
Gentlemen Prefer Voodoo
I Brake for Biker Witches
Date with a Demon Slayer
Some Like It Hexed

A Fun Collection of Cozy With Just Enough Scary.

I am already a big fan of Angie Fox’s Southern Ghost Hunter Mysteries and love her writing style. I really like how she writes her characters, constructs her plots and the balance she uses between cozy and scary in her supernatural tales.

Based on these stories, I think I prefer our heroine in the Southern Ghost Hunter Mysteries, Verity, to Lizzie the Demon Slayer heroine as she doesn’t seem to hesitate to help someone in need.

I don’t think that you have to have read either of these series to enjoy this collection, however, I must admit to being a bit lost reading some of the Demon Slayer ones as there are a lot of characters and an apparent full history but didn’t seem to be as much backstory explanations.

There is absolutely no offensive content within these pages – language, violence or sex – and so I can recommend it to lovers of charming, paranormal mystery tales who enjoy a sprinkling of humour and a happy ever after ending.

Buy A LITTLE NIGHT MAGIC in print and ebook formats through the usual sources including:

Amazon UK ¦ Amazon US ¦ Book Depository
(I am part of Amazon , Audible , The Book Depository, Foyles Book Shop and Waterstones affiliate programmes, which means when you use those links to buy a copy of this book, I will get a (very) small % from the sale.)

Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to read my mini review.

I hope I’ve sparked your interest and you’ll consider adding this fun paranormal mystery collection to your TBR pile.

Bye for now,

Flora x
