Hello my lovelies,
It’s time for another Friday Finds post – I can’t believe that this will be the last one for this month! Where did March go?!
If you are one of my lovely new followers let me just take a moment to explain. I like to read, my favourite genre is paranormal romance and I’ve been known to read urban fantasy and paranormal cozy mysteries too. But it’s a big wide literary world out there and I decided back in January that you, my dear followers, might be interested in the reviews about books from other genres to help you find your next favourite book. Ta!Da! My weekly Friday Finds post was born.
I don’t ever review anything other than fiction, so it was nice to find some non-fiction book reviews in my inbox recently. In no particular order;
Sarah is a big fan of all things historic and although her passion is non-fiction she does get lost in a novel from time to time. I like her writing style and find her posts easy to read and always enjoyable.
A Bad Witch’s Blog is run by London based pagan, witch and author, Lucya Starza, who posts about a range of subjects including, book reviews, pagan events as well as how-to craft ideas and tutorials.
Evelina is a book blogger and reviewer who’s preferred genres are general fiction, fantasy and scifi, but she also reads non-fiction books on important topics like equality, disability, fair treatment of individuals.
Literary Titan are a group of reviewer that seem to find independent published works in every genre! This title not only piqued my interest but it actually warranted a 5 star review – not something that happens very often.
And last but by no means least is …
As I’ve said before, I always make the time to read the articles from this blog because even if I’d never actually read the books he talks about, I love his irreverent reviewing style.
So, that’s my picks for this week. I hope you find a moment or two to click at least one of these reviews yourself – who knows you may just find your next favourite author or a new blog to follow!
