Love Makes The World Go Round ~ Friday Finds plus Book Blogger Hop

Hello Avid Readers,

Today is Friday so it’s time for another Friday Finds post. I have found some great reviews around the blogosphere that I want to share with you this week.

I am enjoying being part of the weekly  Book Blogger Hop meme too, hosted by Billy @ Ramblings of a Coffee Addict, so I’m doing it again today and my answer to this week’s question is at the bottom of this post.

If you are one of my lovely new followers let me just take a moment to explain what my Friday Finds posts are all about. I like to read, my favourite genre is paranormal romance but I’ve also been known to curl up with the odd urban fantasy or paranormal cozy mysteries too. But it’s a big wide literary world out there and I decided back in January that you, my dear followers, might be interested in the reviews about books from other genres to help you find your next favourite book. Ta!Da! My weekly Friday Finds post was born.

This week, I wanted to share some review for non-fiction books that my fellow book bloggers have enjoyed reading (in no particular order).

Publish or Perish – Kerry Blaisdell from Paranormal Romance Guild

Yes OK, I know I said no paranormal romance but the Paranormal Romance Guild are a group who actually read other genres too, so shush and let me continue. 😉 Each review has a different feel as the guild has so many reviewers on staff. This detective who done it has a sprinkling of everything and does sound really interesting.

Tainted Gold by Mary B Moore from Musings From An Addicted Reader

I still don’t know who this blogger is but their site is dedicated to reviewing books and book tours. Every genre seems to be covered including; Young Adult, Paranormal, Erotica, Thriller, Fantasy, Contemporary, Suspense, Historical. This romance story certainly ticked all the boxes for them and was highly rated.

I Hate You by Ilsa Madden-Mills from Devilishly Delicious Book Reviews

Christie and Danielle are very passionate about the books they read and want to share that passion with everyone who visits their highly popular blog. They read pretty much anything that interests them and share their reviews as well as taking part in lots of book tours, new release blitz and cover reveals.

Call Her Mine by Melissa Foster from A British Bookworm’s Blog

Jo is a fellow Brit who loves reading but unlike me she reads across the genres and is continually sharing new releases with her followers. She is spreading the reading love and I guarantee that you’ll find something that you’ll want to read! Lol!

And my final review this week is from a tried and trusted book blog…

Handle with Care by Helena Hunting from Caffeinated Reviewer

Kimberly is a self proclaimed audiobook junkie, avid reader and coffee drinker. She doesn’t limit herself to just reading one genre but reads books from young adult to hot and steamy romances with a healthy love of a good horror or Zombie book. This romance gave her all the feels that she needed.

So, that’s my picks for this week. I hope you find a moment or two to click at least one of these reviews yourself – who knows you may just find your next favourite author!

Now on to the Book Blogger Hop meme which is hosted by Billy @ Ramblings of a Coffee Addict. A question is posted each week, you answer the question and visit others blogs to see what their answers are. Easy!

So this week’s question is:

Have you ever read a library book you loved so much, you just HAD to own it, so you bought a copy for yourself after returning the library book you had already finished?

(submitted by Maria @ A Night’s Dream of Books)

I am ashamed to say that I can’t remember the last time I visited my local library to borrow a book. 🙁 They just didn’t hold any books in my favourite genre; paranormal romance. Then I got my Kindle and haven’t looked back.

What about you, dear followers, have you bought a book after reading it from the library?

Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to read this post. I hope you have a good weekend and manage to read (or listen to) a great story.

Happy Reading!

I'm in my late forties, my interests are varied but since menopause hit a few years ago, I find myself becoming a "grumpy old woman" all too frequently - where has my infinite patience gone!?! Lol!
I bought a Kindle in the summer of 2013 and haven't stopped reading since. If you want to know more about me, check out my blog -

I’ve not been to the library to check out books in long time either. I’ve gone there to vote and then to get a couple things notarized, but, like you, since I’ve gotten my Kindle, I’m all about ebooks. 🙂

Thanks for stopping by my blog! Hope you have a lovely week! 🙂

Yeah I’ve noticed that about my library as well. Or the ones that they do have, I have already…and maybe or maybe not read, but still have! Lol.

Thanks for visiting my BBH post!

Thanks for stopping by 😀 As you know I’m like you… And I signed up to my library only to borrow ebooks and not books… But maybe I will in the future. We’ll see. Have a nice weekend, too
