Hello Avid Readers. Today, I’m sharing my thoughts about Revolution by Montana Ash. Book 6 in her highly addictive adult paranormal romance series, Elemental Paladins.
[book-info]
Montana Ash was one of the attending authors at RARE19 in London. It was the first books signing event that I’d been to. I loved meeting and chatting to her and came away with some wonderful goodies. Although it’s taken me almost two months to get this far in the series, I love that I’ve found a new favourite author. 🙂
FYI:
I only write full detailed reviews for the books I receive from authors, publishers and PR organiser (ARCs). The rest of my book reviews are in a mini format like this.
So, what did I think about Revolution?

A Tale Of Mixed Emotions In This Penultimate Book
Once again, the story in this penultimate instalment kept me hooked. I couldn’t put Revolution down!
As I’ve said before, I’m a big fan of Montana Ash’s writing style. I love the pace she sets her plots and the balance she creates in her gripping stories between heartfelt emotion, action and humour. The characters she has created in the Elemental Paladins world are complex rather than stereotypical. They also exhibit personality traits that I crave, intelligence, camaraderie and humour. Whilst also having a predisposition to love unconditionally even when they’re damaged or flawed by their life experiences.
Revolution brought out a mix of emotions; fear, fury, yummy tingles and yes, I did bawl my eyes out (no, I won’t tell you how often or when, so stop asking). However, I also smiled and chuckled out loud plenty of times too, usually at the banter between the members of Max’s rather unique Order. 😉
Revolution is the sixth book in this series and centres around the romance between Bey and Jazz as well as continuing the background story threads. As expected we do see some threads neatly tied off and our questions answered satisfactorily. However, not everything is concluded: There’s still one more story to be told.
Content Warning:
This book has sexual scenes, violence, colourful vocabulary and expletives throughout the story. Therefore, I’d only recommend it to adults who are not offended by content of this sort.
I’d happily recommend Revolution to adults who love stories about the value of quiet, inner strength. Passionate adult paranormal romances with emotional story-lines about the bonds of true friendship, over-coming prejudices and seeing with your heart not just your eyes.
