Picsee Art -Print-What-is-a-bookshelf

Stories have the power to transport us anywhere in time or space … it’s magic! My favourite genre is paranormal romance (read all about that here). However, that’s not the only genre I read, you can also fine urban fantasy and paranormal cozy mysteries on my shelf too.

These days we have a choice of how to get our reading fix: print, digital or audio. Most of the books I own are ebooks as I find that format easier to read, carry and store. However, I also have a growing collection of audiobooks and a bookshelf stacked with hardbacks and paperbacks.

My Real Life Bookshelf of paperbacks and hardbacks

My Kindle Love Affair

I bought a Kindle back in the summer of 2013 as there were lots (and lots) of books I wanted to take on holiday with me. 😉 I couldn’t do without it now – my Kindle goes EVERYWHERE with me. Lol! There are so many free and/or cheap books out there, so many authors publishing their own stories as well as using the publishing houses to get their books to us that it’s sometimes tricky to know where to begin!

My Growing Love for Audiobooks

My reading pleasure has been enhanced by being able to listen to the story being narrated. I signed up to an Audible trial in 2017 as they were running an offer – I haven’t looked back since! The number of audiobooks that I’m downloading is increasing year on year.

I truly believe signing up for a trial is a great way to test the waters as it were. Yoy can cancel easily any time and the audiobooks you download during the trial period are yours to keep forever!

Within this page, I want to share with you some of my favourite books. Some are ones I’ve bought, while others have been kindly gifted to me from publishers or authors in exchange for giving my opinion about it by writing a review. But all have received 5 stars from me. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I hope that by sharing my Kindle, Audible and print books with you, you’ll find a new series or an author that catches your eye.
