My November 2021 Monthly Wrap Up – Fireworks, Birthdays, & Bookish Fun!

Hello, my lovelies and welcome to my November 2021 monthly wrap up post.

What have I been up to this month?

We didn’t go to any fireworks displays for the 5th, but could certainly hear them going off around us for what felt like a week! 😝 My eldest daughter had her 19th birthday – we didn’t go out but did have a delicious Chinese takeaway.

The ratio of audiobooks to Kindle has been 7:0 this month. The reduction in screen time will be a permanent thing as the number of ocular migraines (also referred to as retinal migraines) that I’ve had during November can be counted on one hand! Woop!Woop! The only downside is the sporadic blog hopping. Sorry.

Coronavirus COVID-19 is still lurking about and keeps mutating! However, here in the UK, our immunisation programme is still going great guns. Over 61% of us have now been fully vaccinated (me included!) WoopWoop! I’m waiting to get my booster shot now. The UK government are recommending that we all still take precautions, although the National restrictions have been lifted.

In bloggish news…

Updating old posts is an ongoing process. However, it hasn’t been a priority these past six months due to my migraines. However, all of the reviews on the blog are SEO friendly. Thank you Yoast SEO plugin. 😉 There may still be some older ones that I need to add to the UBB plugin, but I’m sure I’ll get to them eventually.

Please continue to let me know if any pages, posts or links throughout Flora’s Musings either don’t open or you have problems with. Thanks.

What have I been posting?

My Current Reading Challenges (3)

If you’ve been following me for a while, you’ll know that I take part in the Goodreads Annual Reading Challenge but that’s not the only one I take part in. I thought that I’d use these regular wrap up posts to update you on my progress in all the challenges that I’m taking part in …

2021 Audiobook Challenge

Last year I joined the 2020 Audiobook Challenge. I enjoyed it so much that I’ve signed up again this year.

Audiobooks have become my main format since reducing my screen time this year. I’ve already achieved my original goal of 50+ audio listens, so I’m now trying to reach the 75+ level. Wish me luck and check out my progress on my Audiobook Challenge 2021 page.

I’m linking up to The Sunday Post – a weekly meme hosted by the lovely Kimberly @ Caffeinated Reviewer.

About Me

I'm in my late forties, my interests are varied but since menopause hit a few years ago, I find myself becoming a "grumpy old woman" all too frequently - where has my infinite patience gone!?! Lol!
I bought a Kindle in the summer of 2013 and haven't stopped reading since. If you want to know more about me, check out my blog - www.florasmusings.com
