Mini-Review: Of Swine and Roses by Ilona Andrews @ilona_andrews

Hello, fellow bookworms. Today, I’m sharing my thoughts about Of Swine and Roses by Ilona Andrews. A wonderful young adult short story that can be read as a standalone.

I actually read this short story back in 2015. It was the first thing that I read by Ilona Andrews. I only wrote a few lines but the story stayed with me for years. I think it’s about time it was on my book blog.

What is Of Swine and Roses about?

Loved this short story!!

It’s quite a talent to get the reader emotionally involved in the characters and believe in a world in so few pages. I was completely drawn in. I’ll definitely be looking out for more stories by this author.

Keep reading to find out more about Ilona Andrews.

I'm in my late forties, my interests are varied but since menopause hit a few years ago, I find myself becoming a "grumpy old woman" all too frequently - where has my infinite patience gone!?! Lol!
I bought a Kindle in the summer of 2013 and haven't stopped reading since. If you want to know more about me, check out my blog - www.florasmusings.com

Great review – I’m not often a fan of short stories but it sounds like this is well worth trying. I have heard great things about the author, so this would be a good way to try her out!
