Flora Reviews…. Today, I’m sharing my thoughts about Long Ride Home by Elizabeth Hunter. The first story in her new paranormal mystery series, Cambio Springs.
What’s Long Ride Home about?
[book-info]
Long Ride Home is a paranormal mystery novella (approx 25 pages) about Jena, a single mum with a secret. It’s the first story that kicks off Elizabeth Hunter’s new series, Cambio Springs Mysteries.
What did I think about it?
I’m already a fan of Ms Hunter’s books – I loved her Elemental Mysteries quartet! Her writing style is intelligent and the characters she creates are multifaceted personalities. I love the way she unfolds her stories to us and how she allows the characters to evolve. This short story didn’t let me down. Reading this story, I felt transported.
How can such a short story be so engaging?! I loved it!
I already feel connected to Jena Crowe and love her two boys Low Jnr and Aaron. Cambio Springs has me intrigued and I want to read more…
